About Us

We are trauma-informed educators and therapists. With over a decade of combined clinical experience, we bring a holistic, non-pathologizing lens to healing—rooted in both science and the human experience. Our courses are designed to be engaging, emotionally resonant, and grounded in the latest research on trauma, attachment, and nervous system regulation.

Elizabeth Vaughan Pace

LPC-S, MEd

Beth is a complex trauma specialist with over a decade of clinical experience helping clients break free from the patterns that keep them stuck. Her work is rooted in the understanding that true healing must happen in both the mind and the body. Using gentle, somatic therapies such as Advanced Integrative Therapy (AIT), EMDR, and Internal Family Systems (IFS), Beth supports clients in desensitizing the body’s threat response, so they can experience lasting relief and greater emotional freedom.

Beth specializes in working with attachment trauma, dissociation, and chronic stress, guiding clients toward new ways of relating to themselves and others. She brings a deep understanding of how early life experiences shape present-day behaviors—and how to safely unravel those patterns at their root.

Heidi K. McKinley

PLPC, M.S.

Heidi is a trauma therapist and educator who helps people break out of survival mode and reconnect with their intuitive, open-hearted Self. She specializes in C-PTSD, attachment wounds, people-pleasing, and the legacy of early relational trauma. Using Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR, and somatic mindfulness, Heidi guides clients through a process of deep emotional repair that creates lasting change from within.

With a warm, relational approach, Heidi creates space for clients to explore protective patterns, reconnect with unmet needs, and rediscover their own clarity, boundaries, and inner wisdom. Her work blends neuroscience, attachment theory, and embodied presence to support people in building secure connections—with themselves and with others.

“Safety is not the absence of threat. It’s the presence of connection.”
— Gabor Maté
